When you book a photography session or contact us, we may collect the following basic details about you:

We only collect information that is necessary to provide our photography services and communicate with you.

Why we collect your information

We use your personal information to:

• Book and manage your photography sessions

• Communicate with you about your booking, photos, and any questions you may have

• Send you your finished photos

• Issue invoices and process payments

• Keep records for our business administration

Who we share your information with

To run our business, we use three trusted platforms that may store or process your information on our behalf:

• Pic-Time — an online photo gallery platform where your finished images are delivered and stored for you to view and download. Through Pic-Time, you can also browse and order wall art products such as prints and canvases. To fulfil those orders, Pic-Time collects your name, email address, delivery address, and payment details directly. Pic-Time may also collect device and usage information when you access your gallery, data stored may be processed internationally.

• Studio Ninja — a client management platform we use to manage your bookings, contracts, questionnaires, and invoices. Studio Ninja collects your name and contact details, as well as technical information such as your IP address. Studio Ninja is an Australian company (Studio Ninja Pty Ltd, ABN 90 607 557 755) and the majority of your data is stored in Australia. However, some data may be processed by service providers overseas in locations such as the United States and United Kingdom.

• Stripe — a secure payment processing platform. When you pay online, your name, email address, billing address, and payment card details are entered directly and securely on Stripe’s platform — we never see or store your card information ourselves. Stripe may also collect device and browser information to help detect fraud. Stripe is operated by Stripe, Inc. (United States) and data may be stored in the United States or other countries where Stripe operates globally. Under Australian financial services law, Stripe is required to retain payment records for a minimum of seven years. Stripe is certified to the highest level of payment industry security standards (PCI-DSS Level 1).

All three platforms are bound by contractual agreements with us and are only permitted to use your information to provide their services to Wagtography. They are not allowed to use your data for their own marketing or other purposes.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

We will not sell your information

Your personal information is yours. We will never sell, share for profit, or pass on your details to marketers or any other third parties beyond what is described in this notice.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as it is needed to provide our services and meet any legal obligations (for example, keeping financial records for tax purposes). Once it is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it securely.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Our software platforms use industry-standard security practices to keep your data safe.
